Imam Khomeini, by proposing the principle of "neither East nor West", called on the Muslims and free people of the world to follow the example of the Islamic Republic which is the message of the Qur'an in the face of East-West imperialism and the communist-capitalist bloc. This was the slogan of the independence and freedom.
