Supporting Terrorists

Despite portraying itself as an opponent of terrorism, the United States has, in practice, supported it. From the rise of Al_Qaeda in Afghanistan to backing rebels in South Sudan, supporting extremist factions in Syria and Iraq, and granting refuge to the Mujahedin-e Khalq, the record contains multiple examples of U.S. support for terrorists.
