How the Tanuma Massacre occurred?
A division of the Saudi army led by Khalid bin Mohammad, nephew of Saudi King Abdul-Aziz bumped into a group of Yemeni Hajj worshippers who were heading to Mecca. Initially the soldiers accompanied the worshippers. However when they arrived in Tanuma, the soldiers started shooting at the worshippers. Only a few of the Yemeni worshippers survived with over 3000 being martyred.
