Tekuk roar of the precious lion
Tekuk roar of the precious lion is one of the ancient works of the Achaemenid period, which was discovered during numerous excavations in Hegmataneh (today's Hamadan). This tekok has a cone-shaped dish and a roaring lion. This golden object probably belonged to the royal ceremonial dishes and the use of takooks in various forms was popular in the East from the first millennium BC to the Islamic era.
