The role of the people after the revolution

The people have been directly involved in all the events after the triumph of the Islamic Revolution, including

determining the structure of the political system coming from the revolution, drafting the constitution, electing high-ranking officials, and resolving the problems of the revolution and the country. This has not happened in other revolutions with this range and quality. The major point in the Islamic Revolution of Iran was that the role of the people did not terminate through the victory of the revolution; it was the wisdom of Ayatollah Khomeini, the sacred man, that fifty days after the victory of the revolution, the political system of the country was determined through a referendum. That has not occurred in any revolutions
