Religious and non-partisan leadership in the Islamic Revolution
The element of religious leadership is one of the major aspects of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. This revolution was a movement led by a Muslim scholar and jurist, and political parties, guerrilla groups, military officers, etc. had no role in its leadership. Imam Khomeini naturally led the movement; He started this struggle relying on the people. He communicated with the masses and directed them. He was able to deepen, and expand the Islamic worldview in their minds and set it at the community level within fifteen years.
