The best day for giving food to others Imam Sadiq (A) said, "Giving food to one person on the day of Eid al-Ghadeer is like giving food to all the prophets and the truthful." [Iqbaal al-Amaal, vol. 1, p. 465] It was Imam Reza's (A) custom to keep whoever came to his house on Eid al-Ghadeer for dinner. And when that person wanted to leave, he would give him various gifts - from rings to clothes - to take for his children.
