I’m the happiest person in the world when I ride on the back of my father’s bike. There are many cyclists in my city, Kabul. My father takes me and my two little brothers for a bike ride on Fridays. He takes us to the play park, to the Sakhi Shrine where the footprints of Ali Shah Mardan are located, to the market, to the Qarghah Reservoir and a hundred other places that you must come and see for yourself!
Don’t worry if you see in the news and newspapers that there is a war here! These days will come to an end soon. Because today, when we went on a pilgrimage to the Sakhi Shrine, my father said “pray!” I first asked God for peace in my country, then I wished for peace everywhere in the world. I also have a bicycle. Maybe one day I’ll come to your house on my bicycle. Wait for me.
