Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh:

After the nationalization of oil and facing sanctions and threats from the United Kingdom, Dr. Mossadegh entered into negotiations with the United States and gave it concessions.

But the United States, contrary to the agreements reached with the Mossadegh government, with the cooperation of Britain, staged a coup against him and overthrew the national government. And at the time U.S was controlling Iranian oil and supporting the Pahlavi dictatorship, colonized Iran until the beginning of 1979.
