The First Intifada 1987 - 1994

This intifada became known as the Intifada of Mosques, Children and Stones, which really created one of the most important turning points in the Palestinian resistance process in four areas:

A.  Highlighting the Islamic approach of the resistance in terms of content and type of action and participation of Hamas and Islamic Jihad groups.

B.   Transfering the weight of resistance from outside to inside of Palestine.

C.  Restoring the process of resistance to the people (women, children, men, cities, villages and camps).

D.  strengthening the performance of resistance and diversify its methods
