‘Israel’ formed an investigation committee led by the ex-Supreme Court Judge Jacob Turkel, and composed of two members from Canada and Ireland who were only observers. The committee was also tasked with reviewing the convenience of the naval ban imposed by ‘Israel’ on the Gaza Strip, with the International Law rules. The United Nations Human Rights Council decided to form and international investigation committee regarding the attack against the flotilla.
