The great martyrs of the Islamic Revolution 11

Martyr Assadollah Lajevardi (1935 - 1998)

- member of the Central Council of the Islamic Coalition.

- Accused of involvement in the assassination of Prime Minister Hassan Ali Mansour.

- He was imprisoned several times in the years before the victory of the Islamic Revolution for fighting against the Shah's regime.

- Former head of Evin Prison and prosecutor of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran from 1980 to 1984.

- From 1989 to 1997, he was the head of the Iranian Prisons Organization.

Finally, in 1998, he was martyred by “Monafeghin-e Khalgh” in his shop in Tehran Bazaar.
