Martyr Ayatollah Dr. Mohammad Mofatteh (1928 - 1979)

- Tireless efforts to create unity between the seminary and the university.

- Expressive speeches against the oppressive regime in different parts of Iran.

- Arrested several times and exiled once to the southern cities of Iran.

- Appreciating Imam Khomeini as the leader of the uprising in the Eid al-Fitr prayer in 1978 in Qeytariyeh, Tehran.

- Membership in the Revolutionary Council.

- Mohammad Mofteh was shot and martyred by the Forqan group on December 18, 1979, while entering the Faculty of Theology.
