Martyr Ayatollah Dr. Seyed Mohammad Beheshti (1928 - 1981)

- PhD in Philosophy from the University of Tehran.

- The second head of the Judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the head of the Supreme Court.

- Chairman of the Islamic Revolutionary Council of Iran.

- Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of Constitutional Experts.

- The first secretary general of the Islamic Republic Party.

Finally, he was martyred on June 28, 1981, following an explosion in the office of the Islamic Republic Party in Tehran.
