The great martyrs of the Islamic Revolution 6

Martyr Mohammad Javad Bahonar (1933 - 1981) 

- Acquisition of religious sciences from Ulama’s such as Ayatollah Boroujerdi, Imam Khomeini and Allameh Tabatabai.

- PhD in Theology from the University of Tehran.

- The Third Minister of Education after the revolution in the government of Bani Sadr.

- The Third Prime Minister of Iran after the Islamic Revolution.

- Chairman of the Islamic Republic Party after Shahid Beheshti.

Finally, on August 30, 1981, just a few days after he became prime minister, he was martyred along with President Mohammad Ali Rajaei in an explosion at the prime minister's office.
