The great martyrs of the Islamic Revolution 8

Martyr Mahdi Araghi (1930 - 1979)

- he started fighting against the Shah's regime from a young age.

- He was a member of Fadaiyan-e-Islam and one of the founders of the Islamic Coalition Party.

- Together with some members of the Islamic Coalition delegations, he participated in the assassination of Hassan Ali Mansour, the Prime Minister of Mohammad Reza Shah.

- Araghi Arrested after the assassination and was first condemned to death and then to life imprisonment.

- martyr Araghi was released from prison in February 1976.
