Martyr Mahdi Araghi 1930 - 1979

- Some time after he released from prison in February 1976, martyr Araghi went to Neauphle-le-Château to settle the affairs of Imam Khomeini 

- After the revolution, he became the head of Qasr Prison and the chairman of the Central Council of the MostazafanFoundation

- At the same time, he was in charge of the financial affairs of Kayhan newspaper for a time

Finally, on August 26, 1979, he and his son Hesam were assassinated in Tehran by Forqan terrorist group
