The ideals of the Islamic Revolution: Realizing the rights of the oppressed people

Imam Khomeini:

Today no official lives in the palace. Our government is not the government of living in palaces. The day our government took an interest in living in the palace is a day of mourning for the government and the people... God forbid a day in which our politics and the policy of our country's officials turn their backs on defending the underprivileged and moving towards defending the wealthy. And that the rich and the wealthy enjoy more credit and care. And God forbid, because this does not correspond to the behavior of the Prophets, Imam Ali and the infallible imams, peace be upon them.
