Salman Rushdie
Salman Rushdie is an Indian-British writer who was outraged by Muslims for writing The Satanic Verses. In this novel, he insulted the character of the Prophet of God, his companions and his wives in the form of other human beings but with the same name or similar names. The death sentence of Salman Rushdie was issued by Imam Khomeini in 1988. He is still alive and under security in the United States.
