The Zionist regime's attacks on Gaza 2008 war

In December 2008, the Zionist regime staged a Widespread attack against the Gaza Strip. It dubbed the attack as  Operation Cast Lead. The attack lasted 23 days leaving 1,436 Palestinians martyred and 5,400 others wounded. 

On the first day of the attacks, Israel staged 80 air strikes against installations, houses as well as government and security buildings in the Gaza Strip. 

The Palestinian resistance stood against the enemy through what they called the Battle of al-Furqan. They staged missile attacks on Zionist settlements killing 30 Zionists including 10 military personnel and injuring 625.
