Napalm and Agent Orange ravaged vietnam; Abu Ghraib epitomized torture in lraq; and in Afghanistan and Yemen, U.S. drones struck weddings. In such a context, the slogan of "human rights" becomes meaningless when civilians are nothing more than casualty numbers.
