We say that Hussain ibn Ali (pbuh) was victorious. One of the reasons for this statement is that whoever throughout history has used Hussain's logic as their guideline, has undoubtedly succeeded. The logic of Hussain means being unafraid of death. The logic of Hussain means preferring truth over falsehood, at all costs. The logic of Hussain means not underestimating the companions who are on the side of truth and not overestimating those on the side of falsehood, no matter what the volume or numbers. The logic of Hussain means having eternal hope, even at the moment when your dreams seem to fade away. Those who wanted to look at things superficially thought that Imam Hussain (pbuh) had been beaten and defeated. According to those who exhibit short-sighted behavior, what else can manifest defeat besides a person himself being killed, his companions being killed and his family being taken captive? Short-sighted people consider these things to be the manifestation of defeat. Nonetheless, Imam Hussain (pbuh) was not defeated. Even though Hussain ibn Ali (pbuh) was killed himself, the speech that rose up to preserve those words and thoughts remained.
