“You will never attain piety until you spend out of what you hold dear”

“You will never attain piety until you spend out of what you hold dear” (Holy Quran 3:92). No one will be able to reach the peak of goodness unless he/she gives what he/she loves in the way of God. What does a person love more than his own child? These people [mothers of martyrs] have sacrificed this [their loved ones] in the way of God.
