I was seated next to the leader of the resistance and allowed myself to ask, “Leader, aside from the Imam of the Age and Ayatollah Khamenei, who holds the most special place in your heart? Whom do you love the most?”A gentle smile appeared on his face as he replied, “No one has ever asked me such a question before.” He paused briefly and continued, “Just a few days ago, after the Morning Prayer, I thought to myself: if Israel were to ask me whose soul should be taken first, mine or Hajj Qassem’s, which would I choose? Without hesitation, I would say, ‘Take my soul first.’ Because I know that Hajj Qassem has an invaluable place in the Leader’s heart.”Hajj Qassem tirelessly supported us and the entire resistance front. Even though Sayyed Nasrallah is the master of the resistance, he was willing to sacrifice himself for Hajj Qassem.
