Brazilian BDS Campaign Gains Momentum: Event with Israeli University Cancelled
The BDS campaign in Brazil has recently made an announcement regarding the cancellation of a scientific event between Brazil's Federal University of Ceará and Israeli Ben-Gurion University.
The Ceará University justifies its decision to cancel the event, intended to delve into the topics of health, food, and water security,
citing the humanitarian situation in Gaza, where Palestinians not only grapple with hunger and thirst but also endure indiscriminate Israeli attacks,
rendering the notion of hosting a scientific conference involving Israeli institutions on the subject of food security a huge insult to the 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza.
Ben-Gurion University has been notorious for serving as a key player in the Israeli War Ministry’s production of weaponry.
