As many countless millions across the world already know, the 10th of Muharram is the day of the martyrdom of the 3rd divinely appointed Imam, Imam Husayn ibn Ali (A), who was martyred on the plains of Karbala in the year 61 AH of the Islamic calendar.
And this year, countless millions across the world will once again proudly commemorate the mission of Imam Husayn ibn Ali (A) and most eagerly mourn over the martyrdom of Imam Husayn (A), and the family members and companions who accompanied his eminence into the divine hands of martyrdom as they stood up for Truth and Justice against the overwhelming forces of evil and falsehood.
Al-Abbas was the courageous flag-bearer of the camp of Imam Husayn (A). One of the brave sons of Ali ibn Abi Talib (A), the absolute steadfastness and loyalty of Abbas and his heroic final stand for the sake of humanity, justice, Truth, and Islam is one of the most heart-breaking and painful events of human history. Through listening to the beautifully poignant battle between good and evil, believers are inspired to reflect upon the loyalty of Abbas ibn Ali (A).
We present a sorrowful retelling of the events of the tragedy of Karbala, where five esteemed scholars in one video, recite poetry about the story of Abbas ibn Ali, the younger brother of Imam Husayn (A).
