When Aid Turns into Ammunition: The Allegations Rocking Europe

For many years, stories circulated about Christian children living near Jewish neighborhoods—children who would disappear on specific days, only for their bodies to be found later, bearing wounds and signs of severe blood loss. Over time, some claimed these children had been killed for the preparation of Passover bread—a narrative suggesting the use of non-Jewish blood in religious rituals. These stories, rooted in medieval folklore, were later officially classified as “blood libel” —a term used to describe false and anti-Semitic accusations. Yet today, a new and very real allegation has emerged—not from legend, but from documented reports. According to recently published materials in Western media, charitable organizations linked to Israel raised donations from Europeans to fund the treatment of Ukrainian children suffering from cancer. However, these funds reportedly never reached the children. Instead, the money is alleged to have been redirected to Israel’s military operations— fueling a war machine accused of killing children in Gaza. These revelations have intensified growing public anger in Europe and further fueled anti-Israel sentiment across the continent.
